Sustainability
Our operations are guided by sustainability, safety, and consideration for the environment in everything we do. Sustainable operations require continuous development, and that’s why we don’t settle for easy solutions that already exist. Research, development projects and bold ideas ensure that we will continue to process challenging waste materials in an environmentally and socially sustainable way, now and in the future.
We have been awarded ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certificates. We also monitor the environment as required by law, but it’s important for us to go above and beyond minimum statutory requirements; our own monitoring is extensive and continuously developed.
Safety
Occupational safety is continuously monitored and developed. We pay attention to our employees’ working conditions, equipment safety, and more.
Our employees proactively report safety observations. We carry out statutory occupational health measurements, but also perform our own supervisory measurements. We actively take care of all of our employees’ mental and physical wellbeing, and absences are extremely low.
Environment
Our operations are guided by our ISO 14001 certified environmental management system. We also create an annual environmental plan that spans all our business activities and outlines our objectives and monitoring for environmental work. Our employees can also report environmental observations in the same way that safety observations are recorded. In 2023, we reduced our carbon footprint (Scope 1 & 2), which was 493.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide (tCO2e). In the future, we will also reduce our Scope 3 emissions, which are the company’s indirect emissions.
